Don't support anyone else but will follow non league teams local to where I live and look out for some results.
I always look out for Newport's results and Bayo's teams. Since we played Petolul I've kept in touch with a couple I met and look out for their results and plan to go to watch them at the start of next season.
Lekhwiya to see how Chico is getting on. And Cardiff ............
to check how much they lost by <cheers>

Still have a soft spot for Sheffield Wednesday as my mother's family are from there and used to go to Hillsborough as a boy when visiting relations.

    14 teams
    goal difference of +23
currently top - Chico has three goals and 1 should have counted but was given as an own goal.

Standars lower Prem / upper Championship

    Petrolul
    3rd
1 point behind Cluj but way off Steaua & at least four teams within a win - goal diff +18

Are you sure it is at that standard of their squad there are only 2 real known players that being Chico, Weiss, The rest wouldn't get near a championship or PL club.

Hard to tell but from the little I've seen, they may not have names but they have sound technical players who perform as teams. Any of the top 5 would give us a decent game but I would expect to win. There again I expected us to beat Sunderland!

I've got no idea about the quality of those teams but I do think that the average football fan in this country greatly overestimates the ability of our teams.

I believe that we have come to see the British teams as the pinnacle of the sport because of the amount of money spent on the Premier League brand.

In my opinion there are only a few clubs, right at the top, who can field teams amongst the best 20-40 in Europe.
The rest of the Premier League fields teams of similar abilities to most of the clubs in Europe's top leagues and beyond.

The evidence for our over estimation of Premier League clubs' abilities is presented again and again...in European Competition, in International tournaments and pre-season tours.

e.g. that Mexican team we played pre-season, Chivas, we are not a superior team to them at all....they play excellent football, as do the Mexican international team who consistently qualify for World Cups and were very impressive at the last World Cup.
    Money distorts.

I have a soft spot for Man Utd ever since they played that friendly to help raise money for us at the Vetch when we were broke in the mid 80's......

also the Philippine National team - the Azkals.

Before We got to the PL I was a big Spurs fan, I still like to see them do well for all bar 2 games a season when I hate them. Look for the 2 other welsh clubs results Newport and Wrexham. My last is Accrington Stanley, love the fact that they were gone and how they came back to the league.

I support brøndby & my childhood club Frem. In the premier league has to be Swansea with sunderland second.. I watch a little la liga and serie a eresdivise bundesliga, but like rest of the world the only football that really captivates me is english football..

    Expanding on mine a little more;

    Support / Follow:
    Swansea & Arsenal (50/50)
    - never been a conflict of interest in the past - and I now side with whoever needs the points more.

    Like:
    Newport, Wrexham
    - want to see the Welsh teams do well in the English structure. Impartial to Cardiff - prefer to see them do well, and be in same division as us for the derby's - as long as we remain doing better than them.
Barca / Real Madrid - cant help but enjoy their football
River Plate - never even seen them play, but what a cool / mysterious name - and always went them in Football Manager :)

    Dislike:
QPR - just not a club with values I respect, and their chants OOOOoooooo rile me.
Spurs - obviously being arch rival of Arsenal - hate the fact we keep signing their players, and doing business with them :(
Liverpool - too many glory fans from the 80s, and their accents & chants kill me

    Detest:
Man Yooo - hate everything about them; glory supporters, chants, Rooney, Fergy, Keane, I could go on!

Brisbane Roar, Fulham and Mumbles Rangers. (Goalie there many years ago when I could stretch and had joints that could move a bit!)

Followed Leeds, in my very young years until I saw the light. Plus any team my boy plays for, so currently Fareham Town & Portsmouth U18.
