If we can beat West Ham and Liverpool I will seriously start to believe. If we lose both, I also won't panic. It's a lovely position to be in.
I'd take a Tottenham/Liverpool draw tonight.....Basically its in our hands, what more could you ask for at this stage of the season? West Ham isn't make or break but anything other than Spurs winning tonight and then Saints winning on Wednesday then, it would be agonisingly close.
Saints of old would now, of course, self destruct but we have shown over and over again this season that we are not Saints of old.
Please Ron, after the WH game, could you please put aside catching those little baggies during training and instead show the players how to put their boot through the ball. 90% of our game play is pretty much perfect, but we are turning into Arsenal with trying to walk the ball into the goal. Must say though that I am excited at the tactic of Pelle sitting a bit deeper and his flick ons feeding Elia and Mane, been along time since we had 2 quick forwards and JRod showed last year that most CBs do not like players running at or past them. Also Filip running at a tired defends could be a thing of beauty.

When our rivals play each other it's best from our standpoint that they draw. Second best result is that the lower team wins. It's that simple. This is almost always the case. I say almost just in case someone can think of a complicated scenario where it might not always be true [I can't].
Second best scenario might be the lower team losing if they happen to have an easier run in![]()
Interesting clip. Must be quite daunting to walk into a new club, not knowing if the players will welcome you (or maybe resent you a little if you are taking their place). Nice that he has Tadic to talk to.
