http://www.swanseacity.net/news/article/gorre-sets-first-team-target-2259204.aspx? Think we will see him on the bench soon ?
I think so too. Said before he's the next man, after Barrow, to come to the first team from development. He looks to be a more than decent prospect too. Unassuming and hard working a la Barrow, possesses decent pace and, by all accounts, is quicker than Montero and has a few tricks in his boots. He came to us via Man Utd, where he had little prospect of progressing. His Dad, Dean Gorre, contacted us, and only us, directly and a deal was struck and Man U agreed to release him to us, all according to other U21's Mums and Dads. His Dad is Dean Gorre who played football in Holland for Feyenoord, FC Groningen and Ajax before moving to the UK playing for Huddersfield, Barnsley and Blackpool, he may have played against us at some point. He has also been assistant first-team coach at Stoke and Southampton and is currently head coach of his national team, Surinam so Kenji does have some pedigree. Kenji Gorre looks good, hope he becomes great.
Think he may well get his chance, but it will be next season. Cant remember him featuring pre season this year. With a good pre season next season may well get his chance to prove his worth in early cup games.
What i like about monk is he is not afraid to give the youngsters a chance even if its only experience of the bench and training with the first team...
He's a good prospect, but not ready for premier league yet. Looks promising for the future, he may get to sit on the bench this season but I don't believe it will happen before we get 40 points on the board.
Until he plays it will be hard to tell but he does look like he has some quality. Loveridge, too, is getting a lot of good press especially from opposition reports.
monk approves sheehans loan move to bottom club yeovil.....It's great to see our youngsters being worthy of loan moves by other clubs....
