I just don't see anything great about him, he's obviously full of confidence and effort. Stick him against the best or those familiar and I think he'll be found out. Its no skin of my nose if he fails or not. I'm certainly not going to say I told you so because it its an insignificant point.
Scoring 2 against Chelsea and essentially inspiring their victory isn't good enough? Scoring 2 against Arsenal in one of the fiersest derbies around isn't good enough? I'm not saying he definitely will be great, just he seems to be doing the right things. He puts me in mind of Muller. Doesn't look like he's doing amazing things but he's incredibly effective. Also did you see his header vs Arsenal! One of the nicest I've seen in a long time! He has to have something about him!
Well, I'm not saying he definitely will become an also ran, I'm just saying I think he will. I don't doubt my bias against English players plays some part, but it is a recurring theme with these players. They are one dimensional and easy to read when they lose their initial surprise.
Maybe. Though I feel because Kane is a bit older and has had a few more years to mature before being put in the lime light that he wont be a damp squib. I guess we just have different views on it.
