After all his moralising over JT and him putting the boot in over twitter.. Now having to watch the red chav scum being humliated in open court and having to admit he'd been cheating on his wife with a woman for 13 years, the tears just wont stop rolling!! I hope JT sends him a pic with giving him the finger!
I maybe wrong so please correct me, but I do not remember Ferdinand moralising over Terry. I am not saying Terry should have lost the captaincy, but the issue in that case was that if the allegations were true, it was connected to Wayne Bridge ( even if she were an ex at the time),who he may have had to spend a month with in South Africa. Terry would not have lost the captaincy if he had had an affair with someone, who worked in Sainsbury. Like Giggs, I knew nothing about these allegations until this court case, which brings it all out. I do not know why they go to court and bring out to the general public what they are trying to prevent coming out.
We may not agree on Mikel but this story has given me a right good laugh. Rio, Giggs and Rooney all make JT look like a saint!
please log in to view this image When he said his dad had a bike I just Knew the bastard had a shady past
A virgin one at that! lol He's making giggs look like a damn amature! The stripper, the Page 3 model and the Pop Idol star: Rio Ferdinand linked to at least TEN secret lovers http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...-The-stripper-Page-3-model-Pop-Idol-star.html
After lsitening to all the press and other supporters going on about how JT was scum and not marally right for England captain, having mr 10 times being put in charge , and a thug for a deputy , whose lucky he did not get sent down I'm laugin. Will do a search for his moral tweets
Gerrard got acquitted as did John Terry a number of years ago. Unless you were on the jury,it is difficult to give an informed opinion as to whether he was guilty or not though of course you are entitled to your view as to whether you think he was lucky or not. I am not pro or anti Terry or Ferdinand.
Gerrard was aquitted of affray, which he most certainly wasn't guilty of. He should have been charged with assault, which is where it gets a little bit grey in terms of why he wasn't...
Gerrard was caught on camera throwing the first punch and beating up a man with the help of 8+ of his mates who all got done for assault! He's damn lucky he was judged by a jury full of scousers! becuase any other part of the country and he would have been locked up period!
Highly paid footballers aren't bulletproof but they do have kevlar jackets. If anyone doubts this I refer them to a few year back when a some L**ds Utd players were arrested and charged. Now as we know this does not mean guilty, it merely means it is going to take sometime to sort out the innocent from the guilty even if there was any guilty and if there was any guilty is it value for money for the State to put them on trial or can it not all be settled out of court. To stop any potentially guilty people doing a runner before their guilt can be confirmed all of us have our passports (if we have one) taken away. Errmmm except those L**ds players. You see the team was about to play a European tie and the club said (obviously true) that the players were far too valuable to the team. See there would be a big financial loss the the club if they got knocked out and these players were considered vital to a possible success. The club promised to be responsible for them while out of the country. Indeed all went well. Except if it was you or I, comparatively valueless individuals our passports would have been taken. Say for example I was to argue that my marriage was rocky and I had booked a foreign holiday and if the family doesn't go it could spell the end of it and I may end up only seeing my kids once a month. I'd promised the police I wouldn't abscond, what do you think they would say? Only a professional fighter should be allowed to punch someone at work and keep their job. I certainly wouldn't, but that is because I do not earn over 100k a year, let alone a week. Wealth should not save you from your transgression of the law, but it does and always has and always will. The law is a flexible thing it is only rigid for the poor. Pay enough for a good lawyer and the law can be suspended for so long that at times it can actually be forgotten. Simply top footballers have so much invested in them, are intricately valuable (and they know it) to be locked up. They can get locked up but you need a squillion witnesses (40,000 ought to do it) and their DNA on all the bodies.
Fevriul, not everyone in Liverpool is a Liverpool fan. Terry got acquitted by a London jury, some of whom may have supported other clubs or not liked football at all. I accept that verdict as I do the verdict in Gerrard's case. I think it is inconsistent to do otherwise. Gerrard may have got lucky, but neither of us heard the evidence. This is not a comment on the Gerrard case, but there are circumstances where the law allows you to plead self-defence even if you strike the first blow in a case where you genuinely fear being hit hit and hurt yourself.
Gerrard got away with it by using the self defence thing, though the lovely twist was he hit the bloke first (4 times) because he though he was about to punch him. With his 7 mates around him. Cornered. and the other 7 got done for it, even though Gerrard was the instigator. How on earth can you think justice was done?
