Nice match thread but just to point out we're at home...

I'd be happy to go for the team you have put, assuming Targett is out. I'm never confident at home to West Ham, though would be nice to do the double over them, 3 points would be absolutely massive.

I thought we had Liverpool next Sunday, and was getting quite excited at the prospect of 2 home matches in a week.

Alas, it wasn't to be!

Cant say that I fancy us to win this one unless we show a marked improvement in front of goal. Nothing drastically wrong with our play but we cant afford to rely on eeking out 1-0 wins against teams pushing for top 6 - swansea exposed that. West Ham have got good goal potential in them despite injury worries. We need to do better than making 8 chances and scoring 1. If we do win this one I will be thrilled to bits. If we draw I'll be satisfied. If we lose I will sit and think about the fact that Saints and West Ham are actually vying for european contention. Never would have picked it 24 games ago.

Big game. Arsenal and Man U have what look like easy home matchesagainst Leicester and Burnley so a win for us will be massive.

Perhaps now we'll have an end to the idea that games early in the season are somehow not as important as they are now. This game is a so-called must win but no more or less than any other one.

They looked totally shattered yesterday. Lets hope its taken the sting out of them.

Yeah did they look absolutely knackered, we've also had an extra days rest, I think we can win this one but our chance conversion needs to be better than it has been recently.

EDIT: Just seen today is my 4th birthday on here <diva>
