I think "try" is the key word there. They might try. But due to ffp they will want to try and recoup as much of the fee as possible. He is also likely to be on minimum 80k a week.

Only way I see it is if poch thinks he can get his Southampton form out of him. Or west ham as they somehow can afford to throw out ludicrous fees and wages to players that fail at champions league chasing teams . But it seems unlikely to me

Must admit I don't quite get how West Ham can pay so many high wages , of course in the new stadium with 60,000 seats they can ( and for the most part will ) but now ?

Football is a team game, yet individual players are bought and people are surprised that they can't always replicate the form they had at their previous club. Or at least not quickly. Lovren either doesn't suit Liverpool's style and players or they aren't prepared to be patient...they seem to have bought him as a leader and saviour rather than as a decent defender who will take time to settle in.

Hey, who cares :)

That's a clear handball by McCauley

I noticed Ings is only 22. I always thought he was older than that

That wasn't exactly what he said. He said he thought Saints would be around 9th at the start of the season.
I listened back to the audio just now to check. He was told by Savage that Saints were 9th this time last season, and the Spurs fan replied: "Yeah, and that's about where I expect they will finish."

Being able to charge London prices helps. c£40 - c£60 per ticket, which is roughly £10 per ticket more than us.

Anyone being subjected to this complete pile of do does between Newcastle and Stoke?
Crying out load it's bad. Both teams absolutely clueless.
Stoke diving every time they get within 30m of goal to get a free kick to hoof into the box.
Truely dreadful

Shame it took them until about the 85th minute to wake up, but I'd say Stoke deserve that. Good header Crouchy.

I haven't got as big a chip on my shoulder as some, but they have just said on Sky that a ManU win will put them 3 points behind City. Not once have I heard anyone say that we are only 4 points behind City...we are still a bit invisible. Now I think it is unlikely we will finish 2nd, but we are in the mix and that should be acknowledged.

No different than match of the day last night. Man City, arsenal, Spurs and Chelsea get the prime show time. We squeezed in with the rest...
