the shockers I would have thought were against Southampton- 1 shot on goal but scored twice and one not long ago, can't remember against who, but zero shots on target at old Trafford.

Not so much shocking but definitely poor. Team selection, player formations and positions have annoyed me tbh. I've said as much on every match thread. If we dont get top 4 - with the quality of players we have - then LVG will be a bigger failure than Moyes imo.

Liverpool started the season poorly, the signings not performing well but half the season in and the quality of play has improved no end.
utd, on the other hand, have got new players in but the performances haven't got much better. one good game is followed by 2 poor games.
perhaps its the style of play that's shocking?

I've already said I'm not happy with the style. We should be playing better with the players we have. But although I criticise LVG for that I also accept we're still sitting 3rd and getting results. My opinion of LVG is that he will either fail this season OR he will grind us to top 4 and then build something to his liking which will go on to great success. Right now the difference between one and the other is on a knife edge.
