Most go into the crown and spectre. I am going with three others so may not make the pub as will be in Westfield having lunch as sons birthday
Who is at the C&S today? The planets are aligned Hoping the entire crowd who should all now know how bad Harold was give the old bastard a good ear bashing. Fresh Start and possibly Adel then its unmissable imo

The Irish Rs are in the C&S today, probably there already!!!! I'm going about 1.30

Igor I wonder if Bully Boy is going to the match....I can direct you to where he might be standing if he is going (he will not be down C&S though)

Will be a complete sell out. The "viagra" tickets were at a high premium.

Try the Coningham Arms on the Uxbridge Road.

Nice blend of fans in there and not too long a wait to be served.

    I'll buy you a pint, if you're there between 2.10pm and 2.35pm.

There's a good 3G signal, so I'll check this thread and look out for the thirsty fellow in the corner! <laugh>

Enjoy your day Igor! Try The Crown & Sceptre or Conningham Arms mate, you are bound to meet people from here on both places.

I'll be over for the Everton game and a visit to the local pubs is a must, C&S is my prefered choice.

the fact that nearly everyone ends up at the C & S these days is testament to just how may pubs they've shut down in w12.

    a shame. although a great pub the c & s obviously.

Was that the burnt out lorry? We were delayed for about an hour there, around High Wycombe.

That was the one mate, then the A40 was cripplingly slow as well. Finally got to my seat about 30 minutes into the first half, and just wanted to sit down, why I skipped the half time brains trust. Caught up with Nuts, Roller, Tooting and 4String for the post match wake though. And bumped into Stainsey in the street too.

I gave up and pulled off after junction 4 and took a detour via the M4. Got to the ground at 2.35pm, so no time for a pint in the Coningham.

So many smaller accidents on the run in. I have a theory that these are caused by drivers texting when the traffic slows?!

Thanks Norway - great to hear they arrived ok. My wife posted these off and had to fill out all manner of stuff - then they charged her over £3 too! I'll stick to the friendly post office just down the road from me in future, as they'll send to almost anywhere in the world for under £2.00 - and not ask 50 questions!

My last match was yesterday - my season ticket returns to it's original owner - who is back after a couple of years working overseas. Anticipating this, I've gone around the houses and back at the box office on a non-match day before Christmas, and whilst there are three or four empty seats directly behind me every match this season; they can't just give them to someone else. (Sadly, I suspect the supporters in these seats are very ill, or worse, so my insensitive approach was probably not appreciated.)

I'm hoping to be there for the Everton, West Ham and Newcastle games - but this is dependent on getting a ticket - and I don't much fancy paying £60+ through viagogo. But where there's a will there's a way, so I look forward to meeting up. A pint in the Coningham Arms sounds good.

If I cannot get a ticket, I'll console myself selling a few badges to cover my milage!! Just need to make sure I don't get turfed out by the Vietnamese Blockbuster lady hawking her DVDs. <laugh>

If it wasn't for the pub and the gallows humour I'd give you my ST Sku, and would definitely have done so if Redknapp had stayed. But I'm likely to miss a couple of games through work later in the season, I'll pm you to see if you need it. You'd have to sit with Roller and Beth though.

Sku, You should be fine to get tickets in the lower school if you try early enough and borrow someone's membership. If I'm not going feel free to borrow mine.
