A horse named after Gerrard's slip won yesterday at 10/1

Not into horse racing because I can't keep up with the four legged ****ers and they always beat me, but I'd have had a few quid on it if I'd have known it was racing.<wah>
The runner-up is named after him as well (at the end of the season).

I am not a fan of New Balance but they were the owner of Warrior and warrior was just a spin-off so we basically got the bigger fish and more money. Still, when I see New Balance I can't help but think of preppie kids who wear pink polos, sear suckers, and a visor.

Danny Murphy getting slaughtered for his story about Michael Owen, there's no way he intended to offend MUFC, the bereaved families or the united supporters.

“I’ll never forget going through a storm in a plane in a pre-season tour, Switzerland to Germany and it was the worst turbulence I’ve ever had and we were in little propellered plane, only the team. We were flying and it was really bad turbulence, I was like getting a bit scared and Didi Hamann was terrified. Michael Owen turned round and said ‘Don’t worry, I’m not going to die in a plane crash’. I thought, you know what, he was joking, but I’m thinking, he’s right you know, Michael Owen is not going to die in a plane crash.”

None of his story relates to Munich or MUFC, the "fans" relating his story to Munich are the ones doing damage to the anniversary tomorrow.

RIP those that died in Munich.

£114 for a Gerrard LA Galaxy kit (plus another £20 for sleeves). That's how much our kits would be too with adidas.

Just had my car insurance renewal quote [HASHTAG]#robbingbatards[/HASHTAG] Time to shop around again me thinks <grr>

At a quick glance, I know I can get it roughly 45% cheaper than they've quoted as a minimum!

Just cancelled my buildings insurance which I had to pay £140 <doh>

Managed to get some cash back though from Mortgage co + council tax

Is it an extra tenner if you just want the one?

Anyone who gets the badges put on the shirt sleeves of their replica kit is a total muppet. I'm inclined to say the same of any adults who get their favourite player's name and number on the back like a star-struck 9 year old.

I'm inclined to agree with you, but I've always refrained from expressing this opinion due to the risk of upsetting a fair few on here. <laugh>

<doh>

I never wear them bar at football as I think it comes across a bit chavy nowadays.

I have had names in the past (Gerrard and Torres) as I see them as a bit of memorabilia (yes, I still have both).

Wanted to get a Carragher shirt before he retired but never got round to it.

My first kit my grandad bought me had Barnes on the back but thats when I was a little boy. Never had a name on since
