You lucky sod. I have lived in Reading most me life. I was 17 that year, me and my mates decided to go to an all night rave that night.

I had a great night out but with hindsight would have been watching Nirvana doing this gig!

Had the best of both worlds, watched the gig, then raved in the campsite til the small hours....bit of a blur towards the end, but will never forget seeing Nirvana - had seen them about 4 months earlier too, but that night there was something special in the air

It has been well documented that this was their best ever live performances. You were one of the lucky ones who witnessed this.

As a teenager living in Brixton in the 60s one place that was known by everyone was the Ram Jam Club where Geno Washington was the star, here he is back in that time...

Massive thanks again to everyone. Some top music posts again, it's nice to know this music thread is in good hands.

I keep discovering some really good music and that's why I love this music thread!
