Glitter Guilty Of Sex Offences Against Girls

Former glam rock star Gary Glitter has been found guilty of a string of historical sex offences against underage girls.

Glitter, whose real name is Paul Gadd, was convicted of abusing two victims who were under 13 and one under 16 at the time of his crimes.


Gadd was found guilty at Southwark Crown Court.
 
I'll really bet he, thought He would be safe in the U.K after getting out of all that trouble in Thailand.

What is he now, what, 3 found guilty of 20+ Celebrity rapists & *****'s. The guilty ratio to those purportedly found out is minimal.
 
Once saw him at Reading Uni for a Christmas show.

Feel durty.

Funnily enough I was also in Vung Tau, Vietnam the day he was sentenced over there.

Felt durty.
 
i beleice he only got as far as thailand aiport.they sent him back to uk where he.s been ever since.

The only thing that bothers me about this case is not the fact that Glitter has been jailed it's the fact that he's been found guilty of accusations from unidentified people with no evidence whatsoever, when did British Law change, anyone with enemies could could get sent down if enough people colluded enough stuff.
 
No way do I want to be seen as defending the guy but the 70's and 80's were very different to today. I just wish that the police and social services would put some effort into stopping the abuse that is going on today rather than looking for crimes which took place years ago.

How come you were in Vung Tau FLG?
Was over there myself last year while the rig I was on was having some work done in the shipyard.
