  • Premier League

  • Champions League

  • FA Cup

  • League Cup

  • As much as Everton and Spurs!

So many stoke players go on to greatness.

I can certainly see your point greez...

On the otherhand. Would he bollocks. Tge fact most managers and fans of clubs in his early days considered him a one trick pony and too light weight means most would have sold him.

Without United, Ronaldo would be a half decent winger.

And without a injury crises Gareth Bale would be a failed LB at Nottm Forest right...? <laugh>

Great example. A former left back who after moving to spurs was reinvented as an attacking winger.

But for a move to Spurs, he would likely be just another left back at some club.

The right move to tye right club can be the difference between a great and just another player.

He was a failed LB at Spurs and got played on the LW there as a stop gap <doh>

C.Ronaldo would have been great no matter where he went. He may not have been 100% the same player but he would have still been above everyone else alongside Messi.

Lets imagine he went arsenal. Nowhere near the player he is today. He would be a weak little pansy whos one and only attribute is speed. He would look great against Norwich bit be missing against any decent side.

So Kriztian Nemeth would have been WPOTY if he had gone and developed at United instead of Liverpool right? Apparently nothing to do with natural talent but just find the club that'll make you WC

Are you saying C.Ronaldo lacks self motivation and desire...? Personally, I'd say those two assets are what make him the player he is today. His drive to be the very best at every aspect of the game. Being at Man Utd or any other club wouldn't have made the slightest bit of difference to that. Different clubs would have told him to focus on different things but he'd have still become the player he is today regardless of which club it was.

In fact, from your logic you could argue he could have been a better player had he gone somewhere else rather than Man Utd :)
