Chaos in the ticket office today as cup final tickets go on sale to season ticket holders. Not at any time between 10:30 and 13:30 were all systems working causing waiting times of hours and then further delays processing payments as systems continued to crash. How Spursy.
Mohamed Salah has been included in Fiorentina's Europa League squad for their games against us. Isn't he ineligible, having played in two of Chelsea's Champions League games this season?
This came up a few seasons ago, although I can't remember the specifics: you can't move from one CL club to another mid-season, you can't move from one EL club to another mid-season, but for some reason you can move from a CL club to a EL club (or vice versa) mid season.
I wonder if our manager will be worrying if we win or lose this match? Or just treat it as just another reserve team match.......?
"I wonder if our manager will be worrying if we win or lose this match? Or just treat it as just another reserve team match.......?" This is a double-edged sword. There is no doubt that Spurs have not dealt well with the Europa at the business end of the PL (specifically : getting a CL slot) . But you need to keep your UEFA ranking points high so if you return to the CL you don't get dumped into pot 4 (though you can argue that the UEFA quality is increasing annually such that all groups are now nasty) . And come August Spurs lose 24 pts gathered from our CL adventure. Knowing the above, what would you recommend to do ?? My feeling would be to try and get 20 ranking pts, evaluate whether CL qualification is more likely via the PL campaign or winning the Europa, and then focus solely on one.

When you look at the lives they lead you tend to think they have everything. Fun job, money galore, WAGs, fans etc etc. Then you realise they're just humans: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/31142797
Who has upset THFC6061 . No match thread last week but I see from his profile page he is busy posting in General Chat.
Blimey, wasn't expecting that! Brave of him to admit it publicly, wish him all the best with his recovery he always comes across as a really nice guy.
What an odious prat. Ignorance sees with utter clarity sometimes and as for his sense of timing, well it seems to sum up the whole of Twitter, doesn't it? I've checked out his Twitter and from the moment he makes his initial Tweet on the subject he backpedals and backpedals whilst still keeping making it worse for Clarke and his family, who he supposedly thinks are the real victims despite the contradiction of his actions. It's a special kind of arsehole that manages to do that, what was he even trying to achieve?
For nostalgia buffs. Looking through my football junk, came across a reprint of a "match list" of a club playing in Tottenham for 1877-8 IT JUST SAYS "ground Tottenham, 5minutes walk from Bruce Grove. Club room at "Red Lion"Hotel,Tottenham. The team is called "The Pilgrims". They played 2 teams every match day, first team and reserves,I suppose. A couple of teams they played:- Upton Park. Clapham Rovers. First Surrey Rifles. Romford. Highbury Union.. Finchley. Hendon. And many others. Any ideas?
