So, 'Arry resigns citing a forthcoming knee operation as the reason????

I just cannot believe TF's tweet and I'm eternally grateful to our board for rejecting his 'advances' prior to him taking over at Lofthouse Road!!!!
On the final day of the transfer window, Fernandes tweeted: "No more cheque book. We have good players. Bought all the players manager asked for in summer. Our players not mercenaries. Good guys."

I wonder what cloud TF is on and how he can be so deluded???

Ahhh poor baby throwing his toys out the pram because he can't buy his way up the ladder.

Doesn't want to get caught out that he's a dealer not a manager, reckon without buying in fresh blood regularly he'd not do well.

Be interesting to see what happens next, fetch the popcorn!

Really?? How have you come to that conclusion?

He's thrown his dummies out the pram cos he wasn't allowed to waste even more of TF's cash and is now spinning a yarn about his "dodgy knees" that wouldn't even fool Baldrick.

This appears to be your day for failing to spot irony Munky, by waiting till the window had shut, he's made sure that the new man only has their WCT to use, I'd say that was the ideal response to twatface Tony's tweet the day before!

I would just add that I've personally got a lot more time for Fernandes than I do Redknapp (though that isn't saying much!!)
 
I think it's probably a combo of both isn't it?

TF's tweet was pretty silly. 'Arry definitely threw his toys out the pram, but equally has timed it neatly to cause maximum damage (as that seems to be his intention).
 
Horrible man, horrible manager in my opinion. Media-luvvy, with barely anything to back it up with. Football is a much better place without him and his cronies.

I certainly agree with those who say they're pleased we never ended up with Fernandes but I do think he means well - he just isn't too clued up - and Redknapp is exactly the sort of guy to take advantage. Noticeable he walked after those tweets saying the 'chequebook was closed' and to 'work with what we've got'.

Suddenly his knee hurts. All a bit convenient if you ask me.
