I agree about taking a punt on a lower league forward. I said it in August too. We have nothing to lose at those sorta prices. Christ 2 million for Maguire and Ince and never played them. Crazy.

Developments are becoming a bit more clear on the Aaron Lennon front, and City appear to have finally admitted defeat on a move for the Tottenham winger.
The club have said that with Steve Bruce in Paris and Ehab Allam in the office, the club are working towards just one main deal now, which is understood to be the signing of Dame N'Doye.
The Daily Mail are reporting that the Lennon is now holding out to see if Everton will make a move for him this evening.
The winger was linked with a move to Merseyside earlier in the window, with Kevin Mirallas moving in the opposite direction to White Hart Lane
