Bun in the Oven can **** right off and spend eternity being chased by the hounds of Hell, whilst being eternally squashed between a cinema and whatever the **** was on the other side, which I can't remember.

Got food poisoning from there in the early eighties.

Baked beans and chips.

Total ****ing agony.

Nearly died.

I was like a sexually transmitted disease. I thought 'I'm a gonna 'ere'.

Wasn't it run by Paul Flynn, who had the Jacaranda at one time?

Wa

Was it an American city centre?

Cities like Amsterdam, Barcelona, Berlin, Prague etc must be envious of one which had iconic places like Bun In The Oven and Trogg Bar.

YEB was on the other side, where we used to get the bus for city away games. Sure there was something between them though maybe a hair-salon ??

Blimey so we did Balkan, Cardiff, Charlton, Derby, Ipswich were a few games where we departed from that venue on one occasion the coach driver took a left turn direction (no sat nav then) too litterally and we ended up in a field. Was more or less the same crowd every away game we would meet up on Bunkers and pay our coach fare to whoevere did the organising, magic times.

Magic times indeed,
A handy set off point, enableing a burger for breakfast from bun in the oven.
As for the organising, there was the Phyco's, the supporters club ( transport of last resort ) and Simon Grey ?? Happy days.

Actually we set off on the Friday night for a Saturday match of course and stopped off at some cafe on the way, Blue Star? Then we would arrive at our destination at about 5 or 6 in the morning and hunt out another cafe for something to drink and a bite to eat. Long days and even though distances seem nothing nowadays back then some of the journeys were quite arduous.
