What I don't understand is why let him go before someone sorted to come in - can only hope there is an imminent announcement the money in is going to being spent on someone up and coming NOT an old crock and NOT someone from a relegated team(old fashioned but think winning and losing is habit so if been down before you get the it's going to happen again syndrome)

To free up monies ..................... so we can look to buy / loan in others of similar costs.

He will come to haunt us. Thats for sure!

Probably, I quite rate him and don't think we have really given him a chance but then to give him a chance in a position he should be playing isn't going to happen at the moment, so maybe the money is more important.

I get the concept but surely we should have the purchase ready and do them simultaneously or at least very soon after. If purchase doesnt happen we have let someone go and not replaced.

someone like Leroy Fer you mean.....he's done alright since he came from relegated Norwich! Remember Jamie Mackie came from a relegated Plymouth side as well.

Dont agree i think Fer has been average at best, never looks like interested. Might be due to wrong position but very disappointing.
Jamie will give you that if fact as absolutely loved him.
