I think I'd put a couple of quid on that, knowing that we need goals I cannot imagine us resting on our laurels. Thats said with Marquis unable to play I'm not sure who's going to step up their game...all the same I'm glad it's on Sky, I can watch it after I get home from the night shift
Obviously the odds would have been shorter if the tie had started all square -- and if it did, Gills might have stood a chance of going to Wembley. Bristol soon raced into a 3 goal lead - with a goal that should have been cleared. Credit to the lads - they didn't cave in - but gave it a good go at making a game of it. McGlashan continues to cause problems for defences. He and Loft had good attempts on goal - with the City keeper having to make a couple of good saves. In the end the two goal advantage from the first leg was too much to overcome - but the side continued to take the attack to the opposition - and as I said after the Oldham game - there is genuine optimism that we can avoid relegation.
