Marina Sirtis is from the area I believe (Wiki says brought up in the borough). If you look at her on Wiki you can see a picture of her with a Spurs tattoo!

I assumed that this was some kind of temporary thing or perhaps photoshop, but there are other pictures of her with it, so it seems it's real:

Still looking bloody decent, despite being nearly 60.

"How important could this block be from Nabil Bentaleb. A quick free kick is taken, creating shooting space but the Tottenham midfielder slides in for Algeria to execute a timely block." the Beeb

Bentaleb's ability to tackle quickly and neatly has impressed me for a while. Algeria up 1-0 at halftime, needing at least a draw, and possibly a win, to progress, depending on the SA Ghana result.

Yeah well anytime he wants to start...

Seriously I think he has a big positive influence when he plays and he's going to be some player in the future, hopefully with us!

In a rather strange conclusion to the ACoN group stages, Guinea and Mali will draw lots to see who goes through.
The first four games in the group were all 1-1 draws, Ivory Coast won the other game against Cameroon and the two teams in question drew 1-1, again.
With nothing to split the sides, it goes to pure luck.

Has anybody corresponded with our posh neighbours from West London yet? No doubt they'll be sipping their pink gins in The Phene,George Best's old watering hole.

Costa is contesting the FA charge. This will be interesting.

The review is tomorrow, so that won't be very smart of him. Hopefully it'll be 5 matches now and he misses the final!
