Allows the team unit to function much better than pedestrians with the odd moment of brilliance like Jovetic. How many times did Fergie play the likes of Park in the big games? and he's nowhere near as technically gifted as Willian.

As for my fellow 'chavs', not everyone's going to have the same opinion of him but I trust Jose's judgement over theirs, mine and certainly yours!! As I alluded to above, some fans literally don't see the merit in an attacking player unless he's scoring goals every game.

In fact, Park was a couple of notches below bang average.
With Park I always knew he was utter **** if truth be told, it was the likes of John O' Shea I admired more as your go to non brilliant player. Served a purpose, did his job and worked his bollocks off.

I am not even sure what they are arguing about, I came here to discuss Shteve's Equinophobia.
To be fair Park often did a job and worked his bollocks off too. He was just what we needed to break down organised and defensive teams like Chelsea and Liverpool back then, but did get shown up when we played the top sides. The 2010/11 season summed him up - opened Chelsea's defence wide open in the CL quarters, then was a headless chicken against Barca.
Willian seems to work on the same principle - works hard enough to deal with decent sides, but not good enough against the top clubs. Probably why Mourinho played him against Liverpool
