They're snooker players aren't they? They've played with men's balls... ooooerr... ie they've played in male tournaments.

Many years ago, in Oz, I went to a cocktail party one Saturday night and, after sampling various concoctions, found one that I liked & downed three in fairly short time. I woke up at 5 o'clock on the Sunday morning in the middle of a school cricket field, wearing nothing but my underpants - I swear that someone slipped a Mickey in my Rickey...

In 1967, a certain piano player famously connected to Watford toured Scotland with a one-hit-wonder band. Somewhat stupidly, the band refused to play any of his compositions - and laughed at his plan to change his name to Elton John. Which band?

No - they were before Long John Baldry. And I don't remember them having a hit song...
