Everyone seems to agree that he'll go on loan initially (probably Ajax) - and most likely after Madrid's pre-season cash exercises.
He's a big big deal in Scandinavia - opening a new market for Madrid - and he's got huge global hype right now. Madrid will happily parade him for a few years, develop his superstar persona and then (if he's good enough) he'll slot in to replace Ronaldo or whoever they have by then. He'll pay for himself many many times over.

Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio is flying to England today, with Liverpool’s Lucas Leiva believed to be his objective.
The Brazilian midfielder has been identified by Nerazzurri Coach Roberto Mancini as someone who could ‘help’ his side, and now reports claim that the club are in England to try and seal a deal.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio’s website, Piero Ausilio has flown to London today to try and push through a deal for Lucas.
Paulinho of Tottenham Hotspur could also be on the agenda for the sporting director, while Calciomercato reports that Ausilio could take the opportunity to speak to James Milner about a summer move.
The Beneamata are free to talk to the Englishman with his contract expiring in the summer, and reports from Britain have linked him with a move to Serie A.

Don't want Clyne. He'll be another average english player costing £15m minimum and being not really better than what we've got at the moment in Flanno or manquillo

Clyne is quality - would love him at LFC but he's not what we need. More than happy with Manquillo.

Having watched the guy I'd say while he is a better player than manquillo he's not all that either
