Inter connection - perhaps Medel has put in a word? http://www.sempreinter.com/2015/01/15/fcin-balde-really-close-cardiff/
WoL's take on this one: - http://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/cardiff-city-near-agreement-loan-8456873 Hasn't even got a mention on Wiki yet. Will he go straight into first team or be "one for the future?" Bit tough on Kadeem if he leapfrogs over him.
Looks like we're going to get Brian - probably sealed with a kiss? http://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/cardiff-city-set-sign-khaleem-8457634
We'll its certainly been an eventful roller ciaster period lads a nice stable period us called for I think Cardiff City have signed an incredible 71 players under Vincent Tan, while 45 Bluebirds have left the club since the Malaysian billionaire took control
Young Baldy now seems to be on board, but doesn't Slade's comments about the lad remind you of a certain Mr. Daehli, and what happened to him? "We saw the player two days ago training a little bit, he's young, not very physical, but technical". http://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/cardiff-city-boss-russell-slade-8458602
What is promising for me is that these signings aren't L1 or low end Championship clubs. Whether they succeed or fail at least we have a scouting system that is identifying players outside of Slade's obvious experience.
I see that Slade has marked the winger for the under 21's and not sure if the midfielder is worth bothering with...... Maybe our scouting system involves ringing clubs and seeing who they don't want!
Wish some would ring City to take our discards. I assume this new young winger is not the flying machine Slade says he wants for this season.
Gone to Malmo - looks like another Champion's League outing for him like at Celtic. http://in.reuters.com/article/2015/01/19/soccer-malmo-berget-idINKBN0KS1JE20150119?rpc=401
Good riddance. A very poor signing. Look at the description in the link. Definitely not talking about the same player. Weak, slow and ineffective are better adjectives.
I can't believe this is on - we hand them Hudson and get this guy back in return. http://footballleagueworld.co.uk/cardiff-city-eye-move-for-ex-leeds-united-defender/
"The 28-year-old, who is in his second spell with the Terriers, has fallen down the pecking order at the West Yorkshire side and could be on his way to Cardiff in search of first-team football." So a A Huddersfield reserve is supposedly joining us in search of first team football. . This has to be a joke.
It does seem like a bad joke but it doesn't look like one now Slade has spoken. He's confirmed his interest in Peltier on the basis that he had him at Yeovil years ago - that says it all about where we're going under this guy. Also lots of talk about Brayford leaving for the Blades. Brayford is very close to Clough from his early days at Burton and has said he'd like to join up with him again. Peltier in and Brayford out? I wouldn't bet against that one now we're getting to understand where Slade is coming from.
Honestly that would push me close to the edge. Brayford has been one of the few players we've been able to depend on this season. To replace him with a Huddersfield reserve really would take the piss. I've never been more desperate for a window to end, I'm sure Slade's total ineptitude will prevent him doing further damage in the next window.
Peltier in for nothing and Sheff Utd pay us what, £500/750k for Brayford. Peltier would probably be on lower wages too. That tells us a lot about the club's overall strategy and current lack of ambition. I know we must be mindful of FFP and all that but for Christ's sake give the fans some encouragement - beyond changing back to blue. Perhaps this is Tan's quid pro quo?
I'm starting to be grateful that Blackpool, Wigan and Millwall are in this division - and two of them have beaten us already.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Wigan sort it out Sparks. Blue - We paid a couple of mill for Brayford and he's playing well. Selling him in his prime for a quarter of that can't make financial sense. I see what you're saying about strategy though.
Malky hasn't enhanced his CV much so far Stevo - I make it just 5 points from a possible 27 over the 9 games since he's been there. He will need to step that up quite a bit when you compare him with the likes of Rowett and Lennon this past couple of months - I'd say he's performed as badly as Slade.
