Sorry I forgot the Blackpool game, so lets count back to our next win after Blackpool and as we should keep it factual and we might win tomorrow it is 2 wins in 19 games or no wins in 8. It would be typical though to do the double over the league leaders and still end up having a relegation dog fight.
FL want it to be a 6 month ban as they want to add the misconduct charge to it... http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...oom-after-losing-disqualification-appeal.html
This is what I have been saying, he might think he can take the FL on but he can't, they will win and the more he sticks two fingers up the more they will come after him. I can see them finding evidence that he is "still signing the cheques" and slapping us with a points deduction closely followed by another ban when he is next found guilty of the pending cases in Italy. IMHO it would be better for LUFC if he accepted their findings and sat quietly in the background not shooting his mouth off.
FL are ****s the teelgraph are ****s, Some one else will sign the checks end of, Leave my club alone,FFS,its only a bit of tax on a fecking boat.
You're right about him sitting quietly in the background mate, but there's something I like about telling those vindictive bent bastards to go **** themselves
Apparently it's just a ban, nothing in the findings mentioned he had to sell up or otherwise. The FL can't force him to sell LUFC, they'd need another court case and lots of evidence other than the italian case which is not resolved yet. Eleanora Sports own LUFC, not Cellino. Billy, Can't see GFH taking over, they have a writ against'em from Haigh's solicitors in regards to how money was obtained to buy LUFC, they'd be smart to lay low. They'd have to have the boards vote on it too.
I agree with your point Ristac, but if the FL go snooping and have him followed etc, they're in it up to their eyeballs and beyond, and I wouldn't put it past them if they did try to tail him. Thing is, it doesn't matter who owns LUFC, the FL will continue their witch hunt in order to keep LUFC in FL. I'm willing to bet Bates has been advising S Harvey, but Harveys day of judgement will come if everything works out with Haigh.
Cellino was being a smart arse and got found out. He was always going to get found out for not passing on the ruling. Time and again he plays the short game and wins for a day, but everytime he is just storing up bigger problems further down the line. His child like strop yesterday about still writing the cheques, pleading for leeds fans to fight for him might make him feel good but the damage him but more than that they damage OUR club. He rolled the dice, he lost.
I think this one will be very hard for the FL to prove considering the Italian court system doesn't allow anyone copies of the findings. Both Cellino and his UK solicitor both mentioned they had not received copies, it was also mentioned that Cellinos Italian solicitor, once he obtained copies put in an appeal straight away claiming the Judges written findings were full of flaws and did not release the documents. In all honesty, while some cases do require tact, I'm all for anyone who believes they're in the right to appeal their case/s. I can see an appeal if Cellino loses this one. We all know the FL is corrupt, Harveys presence on the board shows that, so I'm all for Cellino standing up to them, after all, they are crooked. Harvey turned up at the appeal, even though he declared a conflict of interest, I wouldn't be surprised if something untoward had already happened before the appeal took place.
Chippy, I don't understand when people say he is damaging the club, where is he damaging the club? The FL went after him and Leeds like they have been doing for a few decades. Don Revie was outspoken too, but everyone loved him; yes he brought success, but not at first. Cellino stands up for the club, the FL and Harvey are crooked, Bates or GFH didn't stand up for the club, Krasner didn't either. Someone comes along who stands up to the FL, stands up for the club and some are shouting for Cellino out without fully comprehending the consequences to the team and club.
I take on board all what everyone is saying but don't be blinded because of love for our club, it makes us sound like victims too much. The FL are corrupt, I keep reading that one, are they more so than Cellino? We are not talking injustice, Cellino was guilty, he got caught and now has to face the consequences. These posts are making it sound like Cellino is a pillar of justice, an angel of the community, he isn't. There are probably dozens of others who are as bad and and sneak through the system, they are just smarter and know how to play the game rather than take on the FL with the "Big I am"... Blame Harvey and others all you like, Cellino was caught and found out, he might get caught again with future hearings, this won't be the end. We have a "character" in Cellino but they often come with a price. How is Cellino standing up for the club exactly? He is standing up for himself and fighting rulings about himself not the club?
The trouble is most of us don't care if Cellino's corrupt, whether he avoided paying tax on a yacht etc We couldn't give a flying **** about all that. After ten years of Bates he's a definite improvement.
