Allardyce jizzing over his own genius

"Getting the ball into the box quickly with quality is definitely sometimes the best way forward," Allardyce said.

"That's what we did in the second half and that's why we won the game.

"All this tippy-tappy stuff - everybody keeps on going about the right way to play football."

Allardyce was retained as manager last summer after acknowledging the West Ham board's demands that the team "provides more entertainment".

And David Sullivan has been swallowing that jizz:

"I'd like to see us win the Premier League and then the Champions League. Yes, I know it's unlikely, but not impossible."

Fans attending Everton's match against West Brom at Goodison Park have been asked to stay in their seats at half-time with camera crews in attendance to film the crowd for Sylvester Stallone's new Rocky film, 'Creed'.

The film will also feature Liverpool boxer Tony Bellew, although he will not be at the match. However, there will be a message from Stallone on the big screen.

What might he say?

"Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It's a very mean and nasty place and I don't care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it."

haha, good luck with that.

I can't see the promise of a rubber faced Yank on the Big Screen being enough to keep the lids away from a smoke in the bogs and a pint of flat Chang on a freezing Monday night in January <laugh>

"ADRIAN!!!! Scored the winning penalty to knock you out the cup"

Just what I was thinking.

Eto'o and Mirallas leaving Everton, but don't worry you still have Lukaku <laugh>

FFs I was amazed at this wtf were they thinking at least bring the stars if you want footageh

Everton XI: Robles, Coleman, Stones, Jagielka, Baines, Mirallas, Besic, Barry, Naismith, Barkley, Lukaku.

West Brom XI: Foster, Wisdom, McAuley, Lescott, Baird, Gardner, Brunt, Yacob, Morrison, Anichebe, Berahino.

West Brom have the advantage of the best XI. Everton have the advantage of being at home.

Baines goes down very easy once he's in a good free kick position

Mirallas with a repeat of the West Brom kick but the keeper doesn't mong it up

Everton fans massively impatient after 25 minutes

They have almost all the pressure but West Brom are organised

At this rate "Creed" will feature footage of Everton fans rioting (not in the Hibbert sense) <laugh>

This is shockingly anti-football from West Brom

21% possession, 0 shots
