OK so Harry is staying,Tony says we can strengthen and Harry is saying we need goals. So this is simple we ge these tow in. Pogrebynak from Reading (big and arkward, Crouch like) and Wells from Huddersfield who is quick and slick. Neither team going anywhere in the Championship and two players who would jump at the chance. Job done Rangers finish 17th and Harry gets a two year extension and deservedly so!

Let's sign this guy. He scores goals. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jonathan_Soriano

Would we be matching Pogrebynak's £60k a week wages then? No thanks, we have two strikers who are big, strong and good in the air already.

I would say we have three who are good in the air. Vargas is just amazing. He beats guys in the air who have a considerable height advantage over him. Would have liked him even more if he'd taken his chance on Saturday.

At 26 and with 23 goals in 38 appearances for a middling Championship side, he definitely worth a punt IMO. Seemingly he wants out of Blackburn too, and Palace haven't done the deal yet.

Second that, or see what they want for Jordan Rhodes, must have done down now. While I certainly wouldn't give 'Arry an open cheque book, I think up to 8 mill or so with the board to have the final say to ensure they are the right sort would be a good idea, might freshen up the squad a bit. However, whatever has been said we know something will happen on a certain day in a couple of weeks, Arry can't help himself

Dream on, loan business only. We don't want to go down with another bloated squad, and who good would join us now with a relegation clause unless they insisted on a very low buy out figure?

tis a shame we still have the high wage earners like SWP at the club as I am sure that if he went, we wud be in better position to get a player in the caliber of Jordan Rhodes. However, I also reckon another centre half - at least 10 years younger than Rio (who cud go to the US) is also needed.

Bit early to be smoking funny cigarettes, Royal
This is serious stuff. I am sick to death of us signing highly paid mercenaries who have failed at big clubs. Charlie Austin has set a high bar, but has proved that players from lower leagues can adapt; moreover we need options upfront; Bobby should only be used sparingly and Charlie needs help.

don't know mate, but loans it is apparently, so speculating over Rhodes and Wells etc is a waste of time imo.

The Mirror today suggests that Redknapp has been given a budget of £90k per week for loan wages and that Zarate has already taken up £60k of that.
