United fans have changed that under fergie too. I doubt many actually want 442. A variation of it maybe but 433 would be better.

 

I think the problem is that LVG doesn't believe we have the players to play 442 or 433 and so we are left with this boring 532 formation. If we don't get any players in during this window I can't see there being any change in the approach he takes.
