Bent, Da Silva, Onuoha, Mensah, Muntari, Welbeck, Zenden, Henderson and now Riveros with the possibilities of Gordon, Angeleri and Gyan following that lot out the door, we still have a lot to do in this transfer market with regards to recruiting players. I have put Bent and Da Silva even though they left in the last transfer window they still have not been replaced. Looking forward to the season ahead but work to be done and thats not forgetting moving on the last of the deadwood in Nosworthy, Kilgallon and McCartney.
Onuoha, Mensah, Muntari, Welbeck, Loan players. Da Silva, Riveros and Angeleri.....Enough said. Looking like we have replaced most of them already. Got Gordon's replacement ,in. Got Hendersons replacement. Now for the big one....Don't know if we're gonna find a replacement as good, But with the rumours of the incomig players we are fairing well, Just the bloody left side Again...
Richardson and Krancjar-yes please;Who will take Nosworthy ,Kilgallon and McCartney off our hands???.I feel it needs to be an ambitious League 1 side as Championship sides don't seem too interested.
Cyprus, I have been thinking about Richardson for a few weeks now, and I agree with you. I, for some reason, think he is looking at the comings and goings of personel and probably thinks, "where do I fit in ?" I think that he will really roll up his sleeves this season, wherever he plays. .....I reckon this will be a good season for him !
Wonder how long his contract has left, wouldn't be a suprise if he improved ten fold and buggered off on a free! Seems the norm these days.
am i right in thinking he (Richardson) is our longest serving player at the moment. i think he is one of the players that we need to keep even if it is just for his versatility.
Richardson is one of the senior members of the squad now with our very young squad and as he was saying in an interview sometime last season it is up to the likes of him and the other experienced players to lead from the front. Is the longest serving player at the club in the first team squad and after this transfer window wouldn't be suprised if he is the only player left from the Keane signings. I rekon if he has a season were he can stay fit and play around 30games for us at LEFT BACK this time next year we will all be saying that he is one of the best left backs in the league after the likes of Evra, Cole etc.
But he could use his strangely curled up mouth for that surely or borrow the arse of the sister/cousin/ aunt bird thing that was on Big Brother once - classy lady
Cannot disagree more Poolie, imo Richarson will never make a left back as long as he has a hole in his japper. Had his chances there. Bardsley was immense there last season, cutting in & unleashing his cannon balls. Why fix what aint broke.
If we cant shift the dead wood this would be a good call send them to Pools to help them get to the Championship. I am all for helping local teams out.
It is broken though because we don't use the full width of the pitch, Bardo might of done good last season but with a left footed left back who will get up and down with pace we will be a better team, Bardo gets the ball knocks it onto his right foot and floats it into the oppositions half, he might put his body on the line and is a full comited player but if he didn't do that he wouldn't be in this league because that hides what an avergae technical footballer he is, the sooner we get a proper left back or Brucie comes out and says Richardson is number 1 left back the better and u say he had his chance there I thought he was getting better with each game when he was at left back last season but due to him picking up an injury and with our paper thin squad and all the other injuries that forced Brucie to play him all over the shop as he adds so much versatility I think this year with a bigger squad we won't see Richardson playing all over the shop.
Bardo for captain. Captain McBardo. Fearless Jock ninja warrior. And a bigger cock than Giggsie, (apparently).
