He hit it straight in the middle of the goal and the keeper fell to one side and it trickled under his leg... Was lucky.

If if mignolet had let that in he'd be getting slaughtered, was bad keeping.

and when I say he fell to one side... He fell to the side opposite to where the ball was going <doh>

Nope, he hit it towards the far corner. The keeper was caught in 2 minds as he started moving towards him and then reacted to the shot by throwing his leg at it. Maybe he'll be disappointed he didn't do better, but there was nothing wrong with the finish

see i don't get this stupid pissing contest.

tobes got no joy on lukaku so now torres is going to be a total genius at atletico... who cares.

the key word tobes said and i quote is "consistently" my only word on torres is yeah good lukc a brace in one game isn't consistent anything so.... who the f cares how he finished or what the keeper did.. it could be ten games ebfore he scores again for all any of us know...

Any other convos you want to close down while you're at it?

<doh>

Lukaku has no relevance to the sensible discussion taking place, so a stupid comment there.

Forgetting the goals themselves, the fact that he notched twice against Real is worthy of note and it'll be interesting to see how he goes under Simeone.

all of them... its my new tactic....

you call this a sensible discussion... pissing about on whether torres finished well or not.... two guys arguing when a youtube clip could be posted.... YAWN!

you said consistently... thats that you aid... torres just did it one game... i'd say... lets see in 3 months time what simeone has got himself.

Imat at work so can't but go ahead and post the vid from youtube <ok>

not a thing wrong with that goal.... oh 6 years ago he might have lifted over the keeper and smashed it home as well and bending it in but that was perfectly fine effort and curling it to the far stick.

but still.... unitl he is "consistent" whats the point... none... so what.. knocked in a brace... who cares.

I'd be quite happy for Torres to finish off his career with a decent few years back home. He was a joy to watch for a short while, it's just a pity he couldn't stay and keep it up.
Okay, he was a bit of an arse when he left, but for me that's water under the bridge, downstream and well out to sea by now.
As long as he doesn't put us out of anything in the coming years.

Okay, he was a bit of an arse for the last year with us and when he left, but for me that's water under the bridge, downstream and well out to sea by now.

Fixed :D

Looked like it was going wide to me <whistle>

Maybe he was squaring to back to his buddy :bandit:
