Without getting into another Muslim bashing thread, anybody know much about these lot? It seems they're running riot in Nigeria, making a whole mess of the Eastern side of the country.

Nigeria's a 50/50 Muslim/Christian country more or less, there's every chance this could escalate into something much, much more serious if they carry on the way they're going, if they're trying to implement an Islamic state I fear for the Christian population under their current rule.

Meanwhile, the African nations cup just carries on as normal.

Cameroon separates Nigeria from the host nation, Equatorial Guinea. Am I right in thinking that one of the biggest terrorist cells in the world operating a boat ride away from a huge continental tournament?

No great deals being made out of this by the media like they did with Israel/Gaza and ISIS. Be interested to find out why.

Why doesn't America want to intervene like they do everywhere else? Arms trading is my best guess.

I'd say the opposite, I'd say they're not getting involved because they don't want to rock the boat over the thing they do want. Two words, Jews & Diamonds.

Once the diamond market is manipulated to exclude Judisum you can bet your arse the Yanks will take an interest.

Nigeria is flush with natural resources mate, natural gas, oil, gold, iron ore they have some of the biggest projects going.

Africa has the blood money trades though, ethical issues arise and put legitimate people off.

I can see logic in the 2nd part though, the territory is probably a huge factor as to the Yanks not wanting to get a peace of it, **** going into there for a scrap.

No idea mate, don't know where you got that from. My point is Religion and industry are intertwined in Nigeria. When 'Islamic state' decides they don't want to trade with other religions it will cost the US Billions with the loss of diamond trade because the almost the entire US diamond industry is run by Jews. I didn't mean the Yanks want rid of Jews fella.

Boko Haram, a terrorist cell in Africa... I guess the yanks have bigger issues to deal with, and it's widely accepted for centuries that African people's lives are worth **** all so why not just carry on the age old trend!

That's not my opinion by the way, for the benefit of anybody who is incredibly thick.

want that means 'special initiative' not entirely sure -however its likely to send more flak our way

I've no idea mate, I posted the thread selfishly to steal all of you lot's knowledge on the subject, not something I've paid much attention to.

Diddles sums it up with that translation, couple that with the mythbuster revelation that not all Islamic extremism is based on western forces occupying their country and I don't know where to begin with these guys.

If they start systematically exterminating innocent Christians, I'd imagine that the shizzle is gonna hit the fizzan.
