My condolences Mr Raff. Having lived in Wakefield for the entirety of my childrens life I was aware of the truely horrible possibility of my children becoming fans of the white club and so; have from birth worked to ensure this wasn't the case. Both were born with me wearing the current City attire and from being babies their beds, wallpaper, towels, clocks, dressing gowns and anything possible have been foisted upon them with the intention of preventing the horrific occuring. Started both with matches from the age of 4 and now regularly go with my son to games. Have to say that despite my efforts my daughter has no great interest in football but she does refer to City as 'us' or 'we' so that will do me but my son is now an ardent City fan. At 12 he's been lucky with our success in the time he has really followed football and for me it has been well worth the endeavour - can't imagine many better moments than when we ran onto the pitch after the Cardiff match or picking him up to celebrate when we went 2-0 up against Arsenal. Great memories.
