Its tonight, I hope Cristiano Ronaldo wins it, he's been class for Real Madrid ever since he joined them.

Who do you want to win tonight ?

I'd really like to see Neuer win. The greasy one will probably win it though...

Ronaldo should win the award. Not even sure why Messi has been nominated, it seems he just gets a nomination by default, even though he's been well below his best, and won nothing.

Fair play to Neur for making it, but a goalie can't be winning this award, it's far to big an award to give a keeper

The team of the year is very interesting. It just goes to show how big transfer fees can influence the voters.

I rate Di Maria very highly, but I'm not sure he'd of got a spot had it not been for his 60 million transfer. David Luiz is the most amusing inclusion, a 50 million pound defender obviously deserves a place<laugh>

Ronaldo wins the outright award and rightly so, was interesting to see Ronaldo and Messi's votes though. Tactical voting at it's best. I think one would get a little more credit with the general public if they didn't use there votes so tactfully.

Roy Hodgsons vote was the most amusing though, it's good to know a man who thinks Mascheranho is the best player in the world is in charge of the national side <laugh>

Who in their right mind chose David Luiz.

D'Or is about players performances not if they won anything. Messi was easily second behind Ronaldo, not that you watch Barca.

What makes me laugh about you media football fans is because the English media have been pretty quiet on Messi this last year or so, you all translate that into Messi in decline or not performing, he's only the record goal scorer in La Liga after all <doh>

So he scored all those goals to break the record this year??? <doh>

That record was broken thanks to a careers worth of goal scoring.

I watch enough of Barcelona. I watch there games most Saturday and Sunday evenings. Messi has not had a bad year but it has been miles off his best domestically, and his efforts for Argentina in the 4 knockout games at the WC were an embarrassment IMO!

Messi always seems to get the run of the green with voters, just like he did when he was voted the world cups best player <laugh>

For totally bottling it and becoming a burden to his team mates for the final 4 matches
