If no one could be arsed to go to the next away game could anyone blame them and more importantly would the club actually notice?

I went to the game. Bad to single one player out for our loss. But in this case maybe Fer deserves that honor. He shirked tackles, played the play back, did not run for challenges, walked around head down the whole game. Attitude was shocking. Ala a boswinga type performance. Shocked Harry did not sub him at half time. The second goal all his fault. At the end the burnley fans surged towards the players. Taunting and heckling Austin. Our fans also surged as they did 'in defense' of Austin. There were heated exchanges between a group of our players and the qpr and burnley fans. I can imagine from the mood in the qpr end that he got a load of abuse. Was not close enough to see if he actually came to the fans in response. My first away game today. He stood out as a particular poor attitude amongst players who were trying in difficult wind and rain conditions. We kept playing the ball to him and he could not give a ****. Hope he is dropped.
I think Caulker stood out as the worst today, maybe the bang of the head is still affecting him? He was woeful. It probably is a storm in a teacup and doesn't seem to involve Fer at all? Although it was Rangers fans saying it was Fer, who knows but things like this aren't going to help the cause.
One of the things you get live vs TV is seeing the effort off the ball and the playing into space and the general attitude. The other players were yelling at him as well. He was awful. Lost the game for us IMO.
That's very true LaLa. You can't compare with being there. You get a lot less watching on TV but half that again when watching on a dodgy stream. I'm very disappointed to hear that about Fer. What a lazy cu*t
The most disappointing thing is that's he's got talent. Very good header of the ball and a ferocious shot. But slow with it at his feet and pretty absent when we haven't got possession. Wants to do the glory stuff but nothing else. How much did we pay for him?
Indeed, that is impressive by any standards. Especially three days before Christmas and to Stoke of all places.
For me, fans have the right to boo, if that's their wont (not something I'd personally do) but if fans have provoked players to the point of reaction and bans then they've limited our team selections. Those fans need to be damned sure that what's coming in from the depths of our squad is an improvement otherwise they've harmed the club and our survival chances. We're in a desperate struggle where margins could be the difference between survival and relegation and some gobshites might have cost us.
