Fer in punch up with fan??

I've seen it reported that Fer jumped in to the crowd to have a punch with one of our fans after the final whistle, did anyone who went shed some light on this?

Sad if true, but at least one of the players has some fight in him, even if misguided.

So true!! That's the most annoying thing about him.

Surely, if he actually jumped over the advertisement boards and went for the fan, he'll get a ban of some kind, probably quite bad.

Well it's not my idea of a good afternoon out to travel a couple of hundred miles to some godforsaken dump to shout abuse at footballers (unless it's John Terry of course). And Dunne and Hill always leave everything on the pitch, can never be accused of not caring or not trying.

On the other hand, those people who have travelled to our last 11 away games have a perfect right to voice their opinions, and pretty forcefully.

People have, yet again, given up a day and £100 or so to watch a shambolic away performance. If they want to give the players stick for that, especially Fer who has been an absolute pansy in every away game, then they can say what they like.

I'm not criticising supporters who went up there. I'm not even criticising supporters who have had a moan at the players. No one knows what has happened there. But if that minority of "supporters" have gone beyond and have antagonised or harshly insulted the players there, I think it's out of order. I don't see how I'm crazy for thinking that.

Maybe you've misunderstood and think I'm having a go at anyone who might have given as little as a booing to the players.

I personally have never been one for taunting or shouting abuse at players. I will say that if I was one of the long suffering supporters who have paid £$£ to watch this turd I would have bitten my lip off by now.

I don't think it's out of order at all. If someone wants to yell at Fer that he's a lazy **** they'd be well within their right to do so. After a performance like that players have to accept they were **** and any flak that results (except racism etc.)

Think your misunderstanding the fans that gave abuse.

They were emotional because they care and as well as being emotionally invested they have financially invested.

Away days aren't cheap and the performance of Dunne Hill, Henry and Barton today was nothing short of an embarrassment to the club. As was Harry's 'management skills'. No plan no shape no coherence

So to slag these fans off and say they aren't supporters is completely out of order.

They are obviously proper fans and their passion and emotion came out to the fans and unlike spurs away, united away or Newcastle away today the players were in the unusual position that their footballer world bubble wasn't there to protect them from what we think of them
