Very creative, has an excellent eye for a pass. Never going to be a prolific goalscorer in my opinion, far better suited to playing behind two strikers. Would love to see him back on loan if the possibility came up.
Yeah he looks like a player with a future- creative and composed. Seemed to have a good attitude as well- unlike the David Bentleys of this world he didn't give the impression that he thought he was God's gift to a smaller club. I wouldn't mind seeing him back, altho I expect most Norwich fans (me included) would probably rather see Henri Lansbury as a loan option because we saw more of him and he can Do-the-Dougie-Dance!
To be honest, I would much rather see a new, permanent signing than either Pacheco or Lansbury on loan. I don't think either of them would start games very much for us (although granted they would offer something a bit different, especially Pacheco).
JK - I think you may be in the minority there, I'm pretty sure an awful lot of us would love to see them both return
I agree, permanent signings would be better but I wouldn't complain if we did get those two guys back on loan. They are very good players and also as mentioned previously had a good attitude and loved playing for our club. To buy players of their quality that are hungry and young are going to cost a lot. Would be chuffed to have either of them here...either on a perm deal or a loan
Dave - you're almost certainly right! L'sMM - I agree that I wouldn't turn them down, I'd just much rather see permanent signings. I reckon Lambert is more than capable of getting equally as talented players in on permanent contracts.
Personally I'm not convinced by Pacheco (may be a bit light weight in the Premiership) but I would have Lansbury back, bit of steel and looks as though he could handle himself in the middle of a scrap. Which I think we will need. Although I agree with the general theme that either would be a great addition but it's better to get permanent than loans.
Big difference having loan signings in a promotion year compared to a potential dog fight / relegation scrap year. I know i'd much rather have some genuine permanents on the field for a final day "Survival Sunday" again... *shudder* Would love to have Pacheco or Lansbury back but would they give blood for Norwich in the run in? We've already got Vaughn on loan too.
lansbury and pacheco would be good for us they played for us last season so well you would not think they were loan players.
Obviously everybody would rather permanent signings, and avoid loans as much as possible as we all know how badly it can turn out bringing in several players on loan. One or two will not hurt especially if they put in the sort of effort Lansbury did. They both seemed to like it here and am I right in thinking that Pacheco said he would like to come back to us?
The way Arsenal are behaving I can't see Lansbury being allowed to leave in any form, he's going to be the only one left at the rate they're going. Here you go Mr Wenger I've found it for you................ PLOT!!!!! Pacheco gets my vote for a return. ILD OTBC
