There is no way our board would sanction any sort of deal for Suarez, even if he was available for 50p the board would never sign him.

It is not so much the biting that makes me hate Suarez, it's the racist abuse he gave Evra.

Liverpool as a football club should have been given a serious punishment for openly supporting the guy, wearing Suarez T Shirts, in support of racist behaviour.

They say the neutrals where supporting Liverpool last year, why would any neutrals want to support a club that openly supports racist behaviour

 

I am sure that the RS as a club and their supporters now cringe when they look back at this show of support. This was so crass and demeaning. To have the whole team and the manager wearing a t shirt supporting the Rat when he was accused of a racist action was plain wrong. Even at the time I thought that dalglish the buffoon had made a huge error of judgement.

I don't think they should be punished further. The legacy of Dalglish as a real backward buffoon and the club being condemned by all sections of society was enough.

 

The problem is the club was barely condemned for such a disgraceful show of support. The Media made sure it was quickly forgotten about.

That incident put a huge and permanent dent in Dalglish's reputation. He was considered a brilliant footballer but a bit of a grumpy sod. He'll now always be considered as a brilliant footballer but a complete tool.
