@SkySportsNewsHQ: BREAKING NEWS: Sky Sources - Manchester City are in advanced talks to sign Wilfried Bony from Swansea. More on [HASHTAG]#SSNHQ[/HASHTAG]

great city are mad and have better. he's a good player but misses the target a lot. not top 4. but they had badontelly themselves

Shame the facts don't, given that Chelsea are the leagues joint highest scorers with 44 goals - same as City.

[HASHTAG]#epicfail[/HASHTAG]

you've got him there........ chelsea are looking good going forward... they've only shut up shop in a couple big games and failed in both (city and utd)

@skysports_bryan: We're told Swansea in advanced talks with Manchester City for Wilfried Bony. Deal yet to be agreed; valued around £30m. [HASHTAG]#SSNHQ[/HASHTAG]

<yikes>

He was the highest scorer in the PL in 2014.

He's got 25 goals in 54 PL appearances in an average side.

In short, you're way wrong, you lot should have taken him in the summer, his hold up and link play is great aswell.

he still misses a hell of a lot

you'll note that you are talking calender year there too.

i just don't think he's that good. i'd like to know how many of those are home at the liberty too.

right you rivals.. mark this down.

my prediction:

utd 3rd 74 points
arsenal 4th 70points
spurs 5th 66points
southampton 6th 64 points
LFC 7th 60 points
West ham 8th 60 points

my wildest most optomistic total for lfc would be 68 points

i predicted before the season started in a blog that i can no longer access that city won win it narrowly from chelsea and right now i think its too close to call but could simly be down to aguero's fitnss. i can't call it but chelsea overall are the better team from 1-11.

As far as I saw they have only won 3 league games by more than 2 goals (and one of those was only Everton) [HASHTAG]#notkillingoffgames[/HASHTAG] [HASHTAG]#epicwin[/HASHTAG]

"anti football" you said.

The leagues highest scorers I said.

One of us is right and the other is a deluded ****wit <ok>

Take it by the season then - 25 in total last season, 9 in 22 this.

He'd be pretty **** hot if he didn't miss so many eh?

<laugh>

Scraping narrow wins with hundreds of millions of pounds of the greatest attacking talent in the world is "anti-football"

John Terry is their joint 3rd league goalscorer. With 3 goals. Shocking.

Being the highest scorers doesn't mean much in a **** league and when nomarks like Everton will ship 6. <ok>

I quite like Bony. Said in the summer that I'd prefer Bony for 20 mil than Balotelli for 16 mil. He's not one of the elite, but he' s a decent player. As it turns out, we could really have used him this season with Studge out for so long. That said, 30 mil seems over the top and I wouldn't want to pay that much for him.

you did nd i said id rather neither and a real player..... decent fine but i was looking for the 75mil to go on top top player.... he'll be displacing dzeko in city but is he really going to be the main man here with aguero or will he end up a sub

He's probably not a top, top player but he seems reliable (can't think of any injury or discipline issues) and will get goals. The top players we tried for didn't come. could we have treid harder? Who knows? Bony would have fit in with the profile of our other summer signings though. Of course he'll be a sub at Man City, unless they try to form a partnership of him and Aguero.

yes you are right so far he'd been fairly consistent in games played for swansea. he's done pretty well but i feel he misses a lot cos he shoots wildly.

thats all i keep hearing rodgers wanted him, comiitee wanted lavezzi or someone and they both compromised which for me should've been ultimatum time from rodgers

city do play 2 up.

if they can work a silva aguero bony thing it could be very good for him... but then theres yaya and others too.... i think dzeko is sreaky too mind and prob gone and jovetic seems inconsistent... who knows... city could find messi is on and have to buy him for 200mil... who knows.

i dunno... i just don't fancy him that much but can see he's a player

Everton v West Ham

Both have no form and both missing half their squad

Martinez sacked if he loses? (What's the point of him without an FA Cup?)
