The original film had scenes shot at a City match away at Valley parade. If you've seen the film it's the part when the lead character is arrested inside a ground and then breaks away from the coppers clutches to run to the fans at the opposite end. I know cos I was there when it was filmed during half time.

Anyone else?

Meh - Tamzin's got loads of moles on her back.

Oh well then, in that case I'd defo not get stuck into her....

So it's football fans who are hooligans, and of course they're fuelled by Islamaphobia. Presumably they'll all be white males too. FFS any more bollocks cliches we can tick off?

Football's the beautiful game.

Have they run out of options from the West Ham and Millwall area ?:emoticon-0116-evilg

They could recruit a few from "Ladies" Day at Beverley Races. More arrests in a crowd of 14,000 than over 400,000 attending the KC. Yet according to the Keystone Cops operating under the name of Humberside Police we have a major problem at football requiring them to have dozens of coppers loafing around at great cost to City whilst "Ladies" Day is a wonderful, friendly day.

Good book about that day for people like ellewoods that didn't go. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Crimes-Cent...4-4195915?ie=UTF8&refRID=1AFZ00J5Y5QTGNJ7NEZX

I could bore you all with the story of the original i.d (what a shambles the old bill were in those days) but I doubt you'd want to hear it - the bloke that it was about (James Bannon) was a very naughty boy <ok>

Bannon was a fake and not even known at Millwall....most of what he wrote was pure fairytale !

The writer's been on radio, the sequal is all about modern football's distance from its core support, wanted an ungentrified location, was well informed and thought Hull Tigers rebrand was stupid.

funnily enough, I was there that very day. Seem to recall they filmed the scene twice which confused us into thinking the lad had escaped again.

An interesting view. But concur most of ^^^^^^ this.

He also said Hull was chosen because the streets of London now look too affluent, and Hull has streets that look as though ordinary people with a sense of community spirit live there. He was well versed about the name change and thought it was stupid. Adding that Hull people are friendly and welcoming.
