An interesting fund raising idea from Accrington Stanley. They lost their FAC replay to Yeovil and so missed out on the chance of playing at home to Manchester United in the next round.
Now they have printed 250 Accrington v Manchester United tickets for game which will not take place and are selling them at £20 each !!

A friend of mine bought himself and his girlfriend tickets for Michael Jackson at the O2 and after he died they were offered a refund or to get the tickets anyway as a souvenir. I get something like that but £20 tickets for a game that was never scheduled or existed? Well I'll be glad if they manage to make some money off it but Levy better not get any ****ing ideas!

Cheers Spurf, don't know how long it will last though! I've been doing the work of 3 people for the last six months and have a few other projects on the go so internet procrastination time is very limited! Sorry to have failed in the prediction league, though I daresay I wouldn't be doing much better if I'd been around.

HIAG is currently renewing his love affair with Peskie on the Premier league general chat threads. The only other absentee that springs to mind is NotSo. I don't think anybody knows why.
I tell you what, I'll do you a favour. I won't bother to post on this board again.

I always voted Notso and HIAG as the two funniest posters so I do hope they reappear at some point, I'm afraid I'm not interested in mixing with the riff raff on the Premier League board.
It's worth watching just for the HIAG & Peskie love-in. They're like an old married couple who can't agree on anything.

I like to think I'm helping PESKIE release his "inner twat." In that way, it's a kind of therapy for him.
I doubt that Peskie sees it that way. But I suppose it gives the mousers the rest from your activities whilst you're busy bickering with him.
HIAG posted 2 posts above you, so not really missing. If you look at Roo's account, he still reads the board (last activity yeterday it said) but hasn't posted for a few months. Him and Boss were good mates, maybe they have run off together?Boss, HIAG (from this board), Roo and Notso are all notable absentees
