Well at least both of them have shown some indication of an ability to think which is far far more than you've ever managed.
I can't begrudge Gerrard playing in MLS. Enjoy his remaining years in a slower league where he can shine, enjoy nice weather and life style. Not sure he could cut it in any other major league so MLS would be a nice move. It's just a shame he can't move sooner because I fear Rodgers will continue to mismanage him.
Makes the top 10 english midfielders list. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...ers-does-rank-alongside-Frank-Lampard-Co.html
With Gerrard I think its more about physical stuff than athletics. Its true Gerrard is not a runner any more. But his passing is great when he has athletic players running ahead of him. Things just become an issue if the opponents get tight and physical with Gerrard, cutting out his passing space and hurrying him.
Gerrard is a better footballer than Scholes and is far more talented than Lampard. That's not to say Gerrard was a better CM than Scholes or a better goal scorer than Lampard. I'm just talking about pure all round footballing ability.
Nah, talking about a **** that ripped supporters of his own club off to make a few bob on the sly. And btw that Jeff Powel top 10 in your link.......
The case is proven in favour of Gerrard. Only a truly dead horse could even try and compare the 2 for tackiling ability over their careers plus Gerrard still can accurately pass a ball 40 yards whereas the little carrot-top could only hit and hope
The opinion of a dead racehorse posting on a rival board while his team are playing for their only chance of silverware this season.
Gerard is decent at long range passing, not as good as Scholes though. The area that Scholes really trumps Gerrard as a footballer is his ability to receive the ball under pressure and play short passes to team mates quickly. He can dictate games in the same way Xavi and Pirlo can. Gerard has never had anywhere near that kind of ability in possession. This is why now that his legs have gone at 34 he is having to step down a level and head to USA. When Scholes was 34 he still had a lot to offer, as he didn't need to rely on having legs, he could rely on his talents as a footballer. Scholes was still playing for the Premier League champions at the age of 38, that's how talented he was. You ask the majority of players that have played with Scholes throughout his career who the best they played with was and most will say Scholes. And take into account that Scholes played in a side who where the best in England for most of his time there, and at times the best in Europe too. Many great players who played against Scholes rate him as the best too. Zidane, Henry and Kliuvert to name a few.
You merely prove my point regarding you singular lack of any ability to comprehend what you have supposedly read. I explained to you carefully using simple terms so as not to over-tax your abilities that I had no need to support my predictions in any way. I further explained that your continued demands to bet was nothing short of childish. Yet you still persist with you puerile nonsense. It is just too sad to witness your continued stupidity!
