At our lowest point Waggy and Chillo also got involved in controversy but they chose the fans side and Martin Fish banned them from BP, Deano is arguably a bigger City legend and has been very foolish to dance to the Hull Tigers tune against the majority of City fans, it'll not be forgotten quickly.

Justified.

What a load of bollocks!

Waggy takes the Allam shilling just the same as Deano. Will players get booed if the name does change?

Unjustified.

Fixed it for you.

Obi, most professional footballers prostitute themselves, they sell their talents to the highest bidder. Why should they change the habit of a lifetime, just over a clubs name. Come January do you expect to see players turn down a transfer because of loyalty to any club?

Playing football for the highest bidder isn't prostituting yourself though is it?

If Dean Windass wants to promote Hull Tigers that's up to him. If he's desperate for a job and is only doing it to please the owner and earn a few bob then I think that reflects badly on the owner.

its a free country...he can say what he likes.

Course he can, I'm sure he's a big enough boy to deal with a few jeers too.

He's picked the wrong side horribly, I doubt he cares as being on the Allam's good side may mean regular employment for him, but in doing so he'll just have to accept that he's now at odds with a lot of fans.

And therefore this happened. I think it's good he knows, but I was surprised by the booing.

Just seen someone on twitter call anyone who booed Deano or the Allams a 'traitor'.

His twitter bio says 'former Lufc fan now supporting Hull City'.

<laugh>

I must live in a different world to some posters on here. In my world you have two choices, you either dance the fiddlers tune or become the fiddler.

And lots of tunes to dance to!

If you survive till retirement and dance to the tune in your head you'll be a happy man or woman. If Dean Windass really believes in Hull Tigers fine, if he's dancing to the fiddler's tune because of the way his life turned out and needs to earn some money, then I don't think it reflects well on the fiddler. I think he deserves to be treated a little better then that.

I doubt he cares about the name one way or the other and he has been banned from uttering "city". I know he must need the money but he will have to accept that he is going to piss a lot of supporters off. To actually be told what to call us and to just go along with it is something that I just find pitiful.

Its very presumptive of you. Do you really think that he and the Allam family have had that conversation?

I think that you miss my point. I do not think he really cares that much about the name. If Bradford were in the same position as City, Deano would be wearing their blazer on match days. His loyalty is to himself and his family not a football club.
