He's committing managerial crime numero uno which is picking players based on their name, he's a tit of the highest order Rodgers
Its getting to the point where Gerrard's inclusion is the number 1 problem with out team. But Rodgers either A) cannot see it, or 2) doesnt give a **** because its Gerrard.

If we can only beat the likes of Leicester ( and it is at the moment a big IF) only with 2 very dubious pens at home, what does it say about the strength of our team?

Our team is strong enough. The question is:

What does it say about the strength of our manager?

His team selection is wrong again. He ignored a good performance on Monday and said 'I dont give a ****, I want Gerrard in'.

Tactical it just doesnt work and Rodgers must know it. Rodgers is a proven good tactician so he must know it. 100% know it, and just not care.

I'll say it again... I miss the Rafa days where we'd get 1 or 2-0 up and the game was won and we could all go home...

Sounds like we're playing ****.. will Gerrard's 2 pens mask over a poor performance?

Exactly.

1. With Gerrard in the team younger / newer players are liable to think get it to Gerrard / leave it to Gerrard so they don't put as much effort in or are uncomfortable trying things, his presence on the pitch stifles them

this leads onto...

2. Without Gerrard younger / newer players feel free to step up and take on more responsibility and deliver quality performances

3. He has slowed us down again today, coupled with the above and you get what's happened today
