Don't be upset, Fez, you're the only person I beat this week.

What is so galling about Matej's scoring more points than me is the way in which he comes up with his predictions. He rabbits away about recent form, whether it's at home or away, managerial styles, returns from injury, probable formation clashes - all the usual hooey - and doesn't ever ask me if he can borrow my clever strategy of using dice, coins, long and short matchsticks, map dowsing and homemade e-ray detector.

Let alone my usually very reliable extrasensory perception. Typical lack of respect from modern kids.

Performer of the day with 133 points and moving up 9 places into the top ten is HornetFez. ( Compare Fez's comments a week ago )Only two of us got a "unique" score today: Fez and Canary Dave who also gained an impressive 72 points. Not a lot of large scores as is always the case when Watford lose but Brag moves back up to 3rd with 92.

I'm obviously finding the run of fixtures over the holiday period far too tiring. May have to summon Mrs H from the bench...

Oxford topped the scoring this time with 108 points predicting the correct result in 7 of the 10 games and just pipping Bloother to the bonus. Not a lot of movement overall though as most of us seemed to congregate around the 40 to 60 point range. Nobody managed to get the Watford score correct. At the lower end in the family battle Matej continues to "tonk" his Dad and is closing in on Hornette who is in danger of dropping to the bottom 3 by not posting any more. Dad-Andy managed to save some face by finally creeping past Dan the Mod (who also does not post). Together with Dan the ex-mod we now have at the bottom Dan Dan - deeper and down. Sorry - I will go back to just scoring - I just cannot leave the status quo

Nice to top score for once, just a shame it didn't have a more dramatic effect on the positions.
