That's some exaggeration there. I watch a lot of non league football and the standard gets worse with each passing season, and I have yet to see any LB capable of even lacing Benny's boots.

 

Doesn't say much for current left backs. Benny was better than both

 

I also watch a lot of non league,there are good one's out there if you look hard enough,as for getting worse,I don't know,with a lot of players coming from abroad,a lot of player are having to join non league clubs

 

I dont think we realised how lucky we were the season we won the league cup.
