    If Everton play **** at Hull then probably lose to West Ham and Man City they could easily end January sat just above (but not in) the relegation zone

    It's a godsend of an opportunity for Pardew. He gets away from Newcastle's poisonous owners and the fans who despise him (for being one of Ashley's "stooges") and moves to a club he has strong links with which is located very close to where he lives. I bet he's on more money as well!

    I suspect the Toon faithful may come to realise he was a better manager than they gave him credit for.

    Palace seem to sack a manager before every transfer window which suggests the conversations between manager and chairman have a recurring theme!

    Yup, something like, "Ok chairman, we need reinforcements, our squad needs to be improved if we are to move up the table. How much are you gonna give me?"
    Chairman: "Erm.........2 dollars and a gobstopper?"
    Manager: "Huh? How in the hell do you expect me to keep the club going if I cannot freshen the squad, I dont want wholesale changes, just one or two players in key areas"
    Chairman: "Whats that? You think all blacks are evil? Right thats it, you are sacked, wedont accept racism here! outta my office!"

    The issue is many clubs leave it to fe bit march like Norwich did to do the needful

    Lfc will wait now til May as expected

    I feel we will start with a complete recruiting staff clear out in feb

    Colin was sacked after Palace had already tapped up Pardew, it was a done deal, just waiting for a bad result and Colin delivered that on Boxing day.

    Pardew knew he was only another bad run away from the boot at the Skunks, as they've never had him up there really.

    Pulis or Bruce to the Toon now I reckon.

    cos pardew headbutted someone last year and i expected the gobshite to be sacked last may let alone last august and bruce has always been linked to newcastle.

    Since hull's fa cup run the wheels have come off for bruce... he follows a pattern of doing well for a while then everything turns to **** around him and hull are experiencing it now.
