TOBES SUMMED IT UP WELL ABOUT THE TACTICS TEAMS JUST NEED TO USE!!!! bascially martinez has for years at wigan abbandoned the rubbish he tires and goes direct when the chips are down. with the team he has all he needs do is pull things in tight with jagielka, distin, barry and the like covering up the defense... then let baines, coleman, barkely and the like do what they do.
trying to get jagileka and distin play split cbs is as stupid as asking toure and skertl pass it.

Watching motdast night and was amazed that Murphy and the other pundit agreed with fat sam that it should have been allowed.
Now, how can a guy standing in the middle of the 6 yard box not be interfering with play, especially when he opens his legs to let the ball go through
+f he's not there keeper says he will just five across and save it. As he's there he has to wait to see if the player gets a touch so he's clearly had an influence on te keeper whether he touched it or not.
And Everton have the 2nd worse defence in the league only ahead of QPR. Now that is amazing when you think of Everton you usually think of solid defence. Is it a coincidence that Martinez also had a shocking defensive record with Wigan? I know they've had to shuffle the back 4 but you'd still expect them to be average at worse at the back. The fact they have a worse record than us is something
