Ladies and gentlemen, it has come to my attention that we may very well be in a dire situation .................... how do I REP?????
I'm afraid it looks like there is no rep Aussie.

From what I read, the historical rep is converted into "likes" but I might be wrong.

If so, you should be able to like posts without limit (I'd guess) rather than the previous restrictions.

Thanks for this Nines. As I've said on the other thread, the mobile web version I've got no real issue with, but getting rid of the mobile apps, rather than simply updating them just makes no sense to me. For sure I will be dipping in to the forum less often now that the site is web-only.

Did you see this on the 'Welcome to the new site' OP post by the site owner OLFA?

''Also please try it out on various devices (ipads, phones, etc) - the big benefit of the new design I've been working on is that it's very responsive, automatically altering it's design to fit whatever device you are using - so there will be no need for separate mobile apps in the future.''

I've just accessed the new site on my mobile device (iPhone) and it seems to run a lot smoother than the old one with easier accessibility. I tried out UTR's music thread and it is actually quite slick. I'm impressed already. I'll have a go at posting, creating and editing a new thread on it tomorrow if I get the chance.

Getting the hang of it now, works great on my Samsung

I've just posted on the other thread Pete ( this is getting to be a tad confusing ) but this is what I posted....

I hate it

Why the functionality couldn't be upgraded whilst leaving the design / format unchanged is beyond me.

Change for changes sake.

I'm finding the site very slow. Some threads take an age to load.

Will this improve as it "settles in"?

Yes, I'm finding it quite slow too on Chrome, hopefully this will improve. I do like how it takes you to the next unread post on a thread without having to trawl through, especially good for match day threads etc.
