With a Little Help was superb but it was followed by some very average stuff for somebody with such a distinctive voice. However RIP.
Bought my kid a stereo system for Christmas and some CD's, got him this album.
Awesome album, what do you think to their new stuff? For what you said though for me it was In Utero, fecking love that album
Used to cover this, love the beat + the riff and lyrics! Bass is meh, as with a few Nirvana songs, bass wasnt a big part of Nirvana bar Love Buzz and maybe an handful of others

The real true one and only Nirvana
Nice little tune Dave, nothing ground breaking there imo though. And I'd certainly disagree about them being the only Nirvana!
They were the first to register the name though. As for not being ground breaking then listen to their The Existence Of Chance Is Everything and Nothing While the Greatest Achievement Is the Living of Life and So Say *All Of Us* album
Means nothing who first got the name, I said to my mates call our band Incubus when we were 14 yrs old, they said no and then up popped an Incubus! I'll have a look at what you said, I will always be biased towards my Nirvana though, it was my youth and what persuaded me to learn the drums. And they are legendary to be fair and have some amazing songs, if you're into that sort of stuff though obv
I love Nirvana but by the time In Utero came out the Grunge scene was on its way out still a great album though. What I mean by defined it is that it was the first album to make people sit up and listen it then has the legs to still be considered a great album. I'm not a huge fan of anything by them since Ten, as with a lot of bands the rawness is lost and over-production destroys the original sound Nevermind is a great example of this, Cobain hated the sound and felt that the songs got lost, when he had control again he went back to the roots of the band and created In Utero which was great to see.
