I know it is only Christmas but with your honest heads on who do you prefer Pochettio or Koeman

    1) Pochettino
    2) Koeman
    3)Either
    4) undecided/wait until end of season

Tried to do a poll but seemed to have cocked it up never mind

Tough one, this. The towering Dutchman who is a football legend from Amsterdam to Barcelona, or the mumbling Argentine turncoat currently disappearing down the plughole at White Hart Lane? I'll have to think about it...

I liked Pochettino as a manager. Not much so as a person after what happened this summer, but as a manager he was very good to us. Not without his flaws, certainly, such as persisting with the same game plan no matter the circumstances, and forfeiting that cup match with his absurd team selection. But we mostly played entertaining football and dominated most of the matches and enjoyed a very successful season, which promised to be even better, but our lack of squad depth held us back, much like this season.

I like Koeman's philosophy more, his direct football. He is also a more likeable person. But I don't think there's much difference in quality between these two managers.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing, and given Koeman's personality, I wouldn't expect him to pull a stunt as MoPo did to get to Spurs. So as a person alone, I prefer Koeman.

But also, MoPo wouldn't have known to change the tactics to beat Everton. Koeman looked at his personnel, realised he had to change things round to win, and did so. MoPo would have forced players into his usual pressing system line-up and lost. So as a manager, Koeman gets my vote.

As a personality it's not even close. Koeman is a very likeable character whereas Potchie you need to make yourself like him.

In terms of management though. I loved the type of football we played last season but that could be because of the different types of players we had last season.

If I had to pick then I'd go with Pochettino

Koeman. Not even the slightest bit of consideration needed.

Pochettino is a ****, pure and simple

I've rather taken to this chap Koeman. He seems a decent sort so he has my vote every time.

I have never liked turncoats and I believe that the other chap should be shot at dawn.

    Better manager - Koeman

However the tactics have only been fine tuned from last year by Koeman. MP took us from Adkins tactics to playing some of the best football in the league. All our managers have been good. Got better each time! MP bit of a twat though.

I quite liked Poch as a person at the time, and I think the majority did (whatever people are saying!) I'd far rather go to the pub with Poch than Adkins (sacrilege to some, I know). However then he acted like a bit of a wally, so those memories become coloured by that.

However, I far, far prefer Koeman as a person to any of them, and as a manager too (so far), without a doubt. The tactical nous shown in the Everton game was impressive, and his use of subs has been better than both to date.

Pochettino was a breath of fresh air when he came.......he has decent ability despite his so far poor showing at spurs. What he lacks is sincerity and humility.
Koeman on the other hand seems to have plenty of both, as well as plenty of ability......a no brainer for me!!

Koeman in a nanosecond. We played exciting football under MP but he was a one trick pony. Koeman also likes similar football, but he is far more flexible and has a plan B. He won't get everything right, but he learns from mistakes and reacts to how a game is panning out. He is also a sound person and tries to answer questions honestly where he can.

You do realise you'd end up paying for all the drinks? When it came time to pay, Pochettino would be in the loo taking a call from his agent.

I much prefer Koeman the person but I really believed in MoPo's style of football. We looked unplayable regularly!
